Newsletter for the Month of November 2019
A warm welcome into the last month of the year
Dear Parents,
A warm welcome into the last month of the year. Time flew by too quickly and we are at the last leg of the year, making beautiful memories.
November was the month of exploration and being amazed by getting to know things about our beautiful planet. Earth was a new topic that was introduced and we were apprehensive whether the children will be able to understand this topic. I am happy to share that they not only understood and participated actively but also surprised us with their curious minds.
The highlight of the month was “EARTH DAY” where our endeavour to make children experience different landforms was successful. Children learnt about various landforms through experiential learning and doing activities related to the same.
We urge all parents to highlight landforms around us and bring to their attention every little detail. A trip to the mountains, coast or a night out in the forest will help them in gaining experience and creating memories. We are so inspired and encouraged by the theme that we have extended it by 15 days. The topic for the month of December is Universe and will be covered from mid-December to end January.
This month, the Parent Teacher Meeting was conducted and we gave the first term report cards. It gives a glimpse to the parents into the academic world of their child. Many children are eligible for admissions to formal schools for the academic year 2020-21.We request all parents to kindly check circulars regularly especially regarding admission process. The guidelines have been sent by email earlier this week. We would be happy to be of assistance, in case any help is required.
Have a lovely month ahead and make love, laughter and learning a part of your life!
