Dear Parents,
Welcome to 2022- 2023 school year at Little Pearls. We are thrilled to have your little ones with us and looking forward to a year filled with exploration, discovery and growth.
The children have been very busy these past few weeks learning the ins and outs of their new classroom. We practiced being kind and courteous to friends. We learned how to use our materials with care and respect, and even how to give a compliment. We are now ready to dive headfirst into our awesome curriculum.
We began this term with the theme “Transport” as it is always the most favourite theme to explore among children. This gave each one of us an opportunity to know each other.
Children learnt about different modes of ‘Transportation – Air, Land and Sea’ and about traffic rules and signs. They learned about different ways to travel such as through motor cycles, sail boats, hot air balloons and even a train. Some of their projects included painting a toy car, wheels impressions in mud, matching/sorting/counting transport vehicles, etc
The month also celebrated red colour day where all children came dressed in red colour clothes and played games reinforcing colours.
We celebrated Mother’s day with wonderful performances by students of KG and Nursery classes. The day was full of fun and frolic and children danced on Mother’s day songs and ended the day by gifting their mother’s a card and a flower.
We celebrated Ranveer’s, Sahana’s, Ibadat’s, Avyaan’s, Prisha’s, Teisha’s, and Yuvaan’s birthdays this month. Thank you to all the parents for the yummy cake and treats!
School will now close for the summer vacation from 15th May 2022 and will reopen on 4th July 2022.
We have a lot of fun and engaging activities planned for the summer camp, and looking forward to learning and laughing with your children! Let the summer fun begin!
