NEWSLETTER FOR THE MONTH OF JANUARY 2024
Dear Parents,
The month of January came with a fresh breeze of new hopes and resolutions for the New Year.
The theme for the month of January was Solar System in Nursery class and Me & My Family in all the other classes. The range of activities varied from looking in to the mirror and interacting with your own self, place body parts on the cut out, Decorate the name initial, Finger family craft, My House craft, Magic painting MOM, Spray painting DAD, Name plate, Family tree and others.
Children learnt about their family and also that family is not just those who live in the same place as them, but includes aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. It can also include close family friends, babysitters, or their pets.
Story books on Mom, Dad, Grandparents, Newbaby etc were introduced.
We celebrated Republic day by singing patriotic songs and making beautiful flag craft.
We want to give a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Anuj Pathak, our toddler class parent for orchestrating a free health checkup for the children of Arpan NGO, their parents, and our school helpers on Jan 26. Thank you, Dr. Pathak, for being a beacon of compassion and making a positive impact on our community’s well-being.
We are rolling up our sleeves and getting ready for the Year End Assembly on 14th & 15th March. We would request all the parents to give the confirmation about their child’s presence for the celebration.
The month of February & March would be revision months along with rehearsals. We will not be sending work plan and activity photographs for the month of feb and march.
We will have a special valentine day celebration on 10th Feb, Saturday. Looking forward to see you all.
