Dear Parents,

Welcome back after a summer break!
We hope you and your family had a relaxed and enjoyable summer holiday. The return to school has been smooth and all children have settled in their respective environments.
We welcome all the children and parents who joined Little Pearls in the month of July. We are excited and looking forward to have a year full of fun filled experiences with your child
The theme of the month was Water animals and Birds which was perfect with the onset of Rainy season. Children learnt about various birds like crow, pigeon, peacock, eagle, Owl and many more along with a variety of insects like ants, butterflies, ladybugs, spiders, and other bugs along with.
Learning about water animals was very exciting for all children. Knowing all about the mysterious oceans and the life under the ocean was very exciting. Lot of art and craft activities and hands on and science projects were thoroughly enjoyed by all.
The activities varied from making bird nests, life-cycle creative, artwork, crafts, ant farms and various hands-on learning about birds & water animals.
The children of KG, Nursery and PreNursery participated in ‘Show and Tell’ activity and Playgroup and Toddlers in “Dressup” activity. The children brought their favourite objects, costumes and excitedly shared them with the audience which enabled them to communicate their thoughts, feelings and emotions. Show and tell sets the stage for children to become comfortable when speaking in public.
Montessori environment has been set up in school. Teachers went through an extensive Montessori training to upgrade their teaching skills.
Alphabets, colours, shapes and numbers, along with practical skills and sensorial skills are now introduced through Montessori learning methods.
It was an exciting month exploring the water and flying animals.
We are looking forward to a new month of watching our farm and wild animals come alive and lots of festival celebrations.
