Newsletter for the Month of June 2022
Dear Parents,
Little Pearls organised its 2022 Summer Camp, from 23rd May to 17th June for the age
group 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 years. Each group submerged themselves into activities on the basis
of four themes, each theme implemented for a week.
The kids between the age groups of 2 to 4 were taken on an exciting journey, starting from
enthusiastic pirates riding their way on a pirate ship to the week of Splishing and Splashing
where they were made to beat the heat with never ending water fun. From there they were
led into the enchanting world of Tinker bell and Peterpan. They ended their ride by visiting
the evergreen and fun – filled world of Mowgli. Each theme on their way to the finish point,
increased a child’s knowledge about the world around him, enhanced his/her social and
motor skills while still preserving the fun by incorporating activities like cooking, crafts,
sports, plays, dance and music.
The elder batch of 5 to 8 years were made to widen their understanding of the world by
making them take a trip around the world, displaying to them the various sights and
cultures that co-exist, on this diverse planet. After that they made to think what they
wanted to be when they grew up, by introducing them to a flurry of different professions,
and encouraging them to dip their toes in the various fields. Then, children were led to the
mind – boggling realms of Outer space, Detectives and Go Green, which made them, put on
their thinking hats. Lastly, they were made to nurture their imagination by interacting with
Fairies, Gnomes, Monsters and Superheroes. All these themes were masterfully
implemented with the help of various creative and logical-critical thinking activities along
with recreational activities like canvas painting, table etiquette, dance, art projects, food
etc.
Hence, Little Pearls had an unforgettable fun and hands-on learning summer camp 2022,
which made children fall in love with learning and also increased their cognitive and physical
skills, and helped them grow into the well – rounded individuals they deserve to be.
Best Regards,
Principal
